Child & Youth Counsellor (RCC or RSW) – Independent Contractor

Vancouver Island Child, Youth & Family Counselling Services is seeking a compassionate, neuro-affirming clinician to join our growing team in our Westshore office.
We are looking for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) with experience supporting children, youth, and families. The ideal candidate will have training and experience working with children ages 2+ and feel comfortable providing parent support alongside their work with children. Training or certification in play therapy is considered a significant asset.
About You
- Are a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) in good standing
- Carry your own professional liability insurance
- Have experience working with children ages 2 and up
- Provide neuro-affirming, strengths-based care
- Practice from a trauma-informed perspective
- Value collaboration, consultation, and ongoing professional development
- Enjoy supporting parents and caregivers as an important part of the therapeutic process
- Are comfortable working both independently and as part of a supportive team
