About Me

My journey into counselling started with my work as a certified music therapist, where I have supported people of all ages in exploring growth, healing, and connection through creative and relational approaches. These experiences deepened my passion for walking alongside others and naturally led me to the counselling field. I am currently completing my counselling practicum under the supervision of a registered clinical counsellor.

I have always felt a strong calling to support people in meaningful ways, and I feel honoured to be part of the unique journeys my clients take. My practice is rooted in a person-centred, strengths-based, neurodiverse-affirming, and trauma-informed approach. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where your voice, experiences, and needs are honoured. 

My background as a music therapist has given me the privilege of supporting children of all ages and working with families from diverse backgrounds and abilities. These experiences shape the way I approach counselling with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to creating safe and supportive spaces. My practice is informed by narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and emotion-focused therapy, which guide me in meeting each client with care and respect for their unique journey.

As a counsellor, I will meet you wherever you are, whether you’re navigating life transitions, processing past experiences, or seeking a deeper understanding of the stories that shape who you are. Together, we can explore at a pace that feels right for you, fostering empowerment, clarity, connection, and self-discovery.
