About Me

I am currently working towards completing a diploma in art therapy with the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute.  I am grateful to have the opportunity to complete my practicum at VICYFCS under the mentorship of Chelsey Thorpe (RCC, RCAT).

I had the honor of working for over 15 years in schools and the community with children and youth in Vancouver.  I have developed and facilitated groups on healthy relationships, assertive communication, boundaries, self-care, substances, conflict resolution, healthy coping skills and anxiety.   

Believing in the power of connecting people and plants for healing and creative inspiration, I pursued a certificate in horticultural therapy, therapeutic horticulture and nature-based therapies.  Where possible, I integrate floral design, nature exploration and botanical arts and crafts into my art therapy groups and one-to-one sessions.

I work with clients 12 – 25 years old in the Westshore clinic.
